Plaintiff Arguments [Nov 27, 2009]

I love living with kr34 do not get me wrong. We hardly ever fight, no standard meey issues or coming home late at night, and no one steals anything like that last case I read on here. There is one little thing that I'd like to air out there and see if I'm right, or if I'm just a little stuck up or something.

Sometimes when I have people over to watch a movie or something I'd like to just hang out with them. Kr34 hangs out in the room with us alot of times though and I don't get why? I mean when she has friends over I go to my room and watch tv or I'll go out to one of my friends places or something. I don't linger on the couch with all her friends. Again, I like her and I just want to know if its me beign wrong thinking that its fair that she gets it and leaves the room or if I'm being a total jerk here.

I'll take you out to a nice lunch no matter what the outcome is of this case just seeing what's up here.

I've known you long enough to not take this personally so relax. I told you you were werid for suing me in the first place and by the comments below I'd say I was right. I pay rent in this house and I don't think I should be forced to go to my room when you have friends over. Rather I embrace it and like to hang out. Am I making you uncomforable? I don't do it that often.

Just because it is a 'common' area does not mean it can't be used exclusively from time to time. I see a Catch 22. Friends and guests won't truly open up and unwind with a 'stranger roommate' around but, they won't reach that comfort level unless the roommate hangs out all the time and truly fits in with the group.
