Once a month I can live with, hell even twice a month sometimes.  It seems like lately it's once a week and sometimes more though. Lily is always bringing her friend out with us, to dinner, to the movies, to a friend of mine's house party. I feel bad telling her she can't come but at the same time I get caught up hearing their girly conversations and it's wearing thin on me. I mean how would you like it if I had my buddy over all the time and we talk about football and movie quotes?  You would hate it! I've been pretty patient while your friend tried to work things out, but it's been 4 months now since she's been single, you'd think she would want to hang out with some single friends. Wouldn't YOU?

My friend recently broke up with her boyfriend and she is lonely. Do you want me to tell her she can't come? I don't think so.  When I was single and she had a boyfriend I remember them going out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. That was very big of them to do and I want to repay the favor. I mean we aren't that bad? And yes I've had to deal with fantasy football drafts in the house last year and football sundays and I didn't say a peep about anything. I don't imagine this will go on much longer with her, so I ask that you suck it up and put on a happy face. If the roles were reverese I would hang out with your friend if he didn't have anything or anyone to do :) :)
