Im sure he has plenty of friends who would have been there if you would have made the effort. Just admit you used his birthday as a selfish excuse to have get all your friends over. He should never feel awkward for his birthday. You say you get him a pot of gold and its not shiny enough? where are the examples of these pots of gold? you dont have any |

| It seems like it was really nice for throwing you a Birthday party. However, to not invite any of his friends for his own Birthday party seems a bit strange. It doesn't matter how far away his friends are, an invite is an invite. I've been invited to some of my friend's bday parties who lived 1200 miles away. The question to ask his girlfriend, if he was to throw you a Birthday party, and you show up, and it's just his friends - How would that make you feel? Use this as a learning experience and let it go. I'm sure it took alot of effort to put it all together, and it seems he is thankful for that.

| I gotta vote with the chick for 2 major reasons:
1. If you are 30 and you can't properly distinguish between the use of the words "through" and "threw", then you lose all credibility with me.
2. If it is your 30th Bday and your friends are calling you up or throwing you a surprise party, your girl was only probably the only one you had that gave a crap. And thank goodness her friends took enough pity on you to show up! |
